Award results are decided by The Pride of Essex Awards judging panel from a shortlist of nominees.
The panel considers all nominations received and may undertake background research.
The judging panel chooses the most deserving recipients, regardless of the number of nominations received.
A nomination may be considered in a different category if judges decide it is appropriate.
It is the nominator's responsibility to obtain permission from the nominee to nominate them, and if the nominee is under 18, to obtain permission from their parent/s or guardian.
Information and any photographs or images you submit as part of a nomination, may be used during The Pride of Essex Awards presentation ceremony, on The Pride of Essex Awards website and in other publicity.
Nominations will open in February 2026, and close at midnight on 14th August 2026.
